On November 16, 2017, Boca Raton Pen Women and guests gathered at the Delray Beach Golf Club for a luncheon with featured author Flose Boursiquot, who discussed her poetry and the inspiration for her writing.
Flose wowed the audience with emotionally charged poems from her published book, Close Your Eyes, Now Breathe. Her poetry about love, loss, Caribbean culture, sexual trauma, politics and feminism brought tears and cheers from the audience.
